Stacks of cardboard boxes from wings + horns sat on the Haven loading docks last week, waiting for staff to bust them open.
After ripping off the plastic and peeling back the tape, the Vancouver store has revealed the latest of the brand from the same city's F/W 2013 line.
wings + horns drew inspiration for the collection from the British modernist youth movement of the 1950s - better known by its nickname "mod" - when young rabblerousers donned sharp, modern Italian clothing influenced by the burgeoning jazz scene. The two-tone merino wool blazer and thinly quilted vest stay true to the projected aesthetics, while the Fishtail parka and military bush pants provide the outdoor look that's become synonymous with wings + horns.
The drop is now available online, at either Haven's webshop or wings + horns.
