Filson takes you inside of a Chicago leather tannery to break down the essence of the company's tried and true values, and to remind you that it still makes some of the dopest leather goods out there.

The brand crafted their latest offering of totes and accessories within the historic Horween factory—a smart move because Horween is not only one of the oldest tanneries in the United States, but also one of the best. Filson also detailed each bag with 100-year-old tin cloth.

"You can make products so good that people can't understand them," Horween president "Skip" Horween said. "What we do shouldn't work but it has worked for 70 years, every week."

Watch it all unfold in the video above.

As you know, Filson's leather goods don't come cheap, but consider it an investment. Both totes were constructed with luxurious Horween leather and come in rust brown colorways and are available now at Filson.com
