Alessandro Battisti, aka Etnik spent a few days in Dusseldorf painting this wall with color 3D shapes floating in a blue sky. The composition makes the objects seem as if they are pieces of a whole, exploded and captured mid-scatter. The blend of 2D and 3D elements is very similar to the world of Fez, a platform puzzle game that won the "Excellence in Visual Art" award at 2008's Independent Games Festival. What Fez achieves with computer graphics, Etnik does with paint and a very sophisticated eye for perspective.
