Dutch designers Tejo Remy and Rene Veenhuizen unveiled this beautiful new chair through the Dutch Design Only imprint. It’s made completely of eco-friendly bamboo slats, in the ancient Chinese style of plaited or woven furniture. The inspiration for the shape of this particular chair came from tub chairs, the kind of seats used often on the decks of passenger cruise ships. “The lightness of the material should be expressed in the look of the design and full use is made by the flexibility of bamboo,” the designers write.
Right now, you can pick one of these beauties up for a scant €2286.90, which is just a little over $3k.
