This Netherlands-based artist dares you to "unleash the force using a can opener."

Netherlands-based artist Vincent Vermeij (aka Chungkong) has created a surprisingly happy marriage between iconic Warhol print techniques and Star Wars creatures in his faux-pop-art series “Star Warhols.” These images dare the viewer to “unleash the force using a can opener.”

Chungkong is known for his minimalist prints and frequently adopts themes from film culture. “Star Warhols” turns beloved characters from a universe far, far away into soup can labels. The prints seem to beg the question of what each character’s soup would taste like. But, only the likes of Darth Sidious would want to know what Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Stormtrooper might have in store.
