There is no shortage of ways to buy art these days, both in real life and online. There is a new website called "Available Works" that finds fault with all of the current options and offers a new buying and selling experience. Advertised as a "social marketplace for contemporary art," the site allows artists, museums, galleries, and collectors to buy and sell art of any medium and to view and follow only the artists and organizations that you like. It seems like the site borrowed all of the elements that people love about the preexisting applications and combined them into one minimalistic design.

The introduction video on the Available Works website rails on Etsy, private auctions, Paddle8, and eBay and outlines why they are better. Head there now to check it out and to request and invitation to the site.
