Been Trill's first store will soon open its doors, founding member Heron Preston revealed in an interview with the New York Times.
Preston spoke with the Times from his loft apartment on Rivington Street. Clad in all-white, the San Francisco native disclosed that Been Trill's flagship boutique in Manhattan is slated to open in December. The tiny storefront sits on the cusp of SoHo and Chinatown, at Canal Street and Broadway.
"We're literally up in one of those rinky-dink souvenir malls," Preston said. "Across from us, they sell pipes and bongs and cellphone cases and fake purses. We're smack dab in the middle of that and we couldn't be happier."
The 30-year-old collective affiliate also said that London and Hong Kong locations were in the works, but gave no mention of specific opening dates or addresses.
