We Tumblforya: History According to Instagram

The present would be a very different place.

Histagrams (not to be confused with histograms) is a Tumblr blog that presents a very real idea in a very silly way. With social media apps like Instagram, we are recording moments in time that become history as soon as we tap that check mark. Imagine if the technology existed hundreds of years ago. Inventors, world leaders, techies, artists, and tons of other people who have made a difference in the world (good or bad) could have shared their achievements in real-time with selfies and filtered food pics. Histagram posts fake Instagram photos from real and fictional people like Hugh Hefner, Jack Dawson (Titanic), Napoleon, Ben Franklin, Al Capone, and our personal favorite Helen Keller with real inventions and events from their respective time in history, but with updated lingo and hashtags. Pure genius.
