The New York-based design firm Spacesmith has retooled the fifth-floor Empire State Building offices of the LF USA womenswear conglomerate. The massive space is all modern lines in concrete, glass, and polished metal. It achieves a very minimal yet refined look that’s unmistakably New York modern.

Here’s the studio’s take on their design:

As part of our ongoing work for Li & Fung Ltd., Spacesmith acted as executive architect in the build out of 100,000 sf of space in the Empire State Building, consolidating several women’s apparel brands onto one floor. Hong Kong based architecture firm B&Co’s design mimics a downtown loft, taking advantage of the 17 foot high ceilings.
