Japanese label Issey Miyake opened a new concept store in Tokyo to house its popular lines for both men and women.
Reality Lab, located in the same building as Issey Miyake's sister brand 132 5, is located in the Shibuya district. The new store is a 4,000+ square foot establishment with clear panel windows and doors, mood lighting, origami embellishments and heavily-designed structure floors. The items within include a generous selection of womenswear and accessories, but the key for this new development is the launch of an original mens line titled Homme Plissé. Drawing inspiration from the Pleats Please line for women, the pleat-heavy products offered will consist of t-shirts, cardigans and pants primarily in four basic colors: light grey, dark grey, blue and black.
Be sure to check it out the next time you're in the neighborhood. If you're unable to make it to this flagship store, Issey Miyake will also be stocking the Homme Plissé line at all retail locations in Osaka and Tokyo.
