Last night, designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, the duo behind Public School, were announced as the winners of the very prestigious 2013 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. Public School has been on an absolute roll this year. Not only are the brand's collections some of the most talked about in menswear, they also racked up the 2013 Swarovski Award for Menswear. Last night's win is a huge step for the NYC-based label. "We are truly honored and humbled by the support and recognition from Vogue and the CFDA. We are extremely grateful for this amazing opportunity," Chow said.

Public School joins a wildly talented group of designers and brands who have previously won this award, including Billy Reid and Alexander Wang. "To be included in the same company as this talented group of designers is an honor itself. We are amazing and thankful for this recognition," Osborne said. The duo was joined by New York Giant and style maven Victor Cruz, who was dipped in head-to-toe Public School.

As part of the win, the brand will receive $300,000 and a business mentor to take them to the next level. This injection of funding and expertise will definitely enable Chow and Osborne to continue pushing the boundaries of menswear, a campaign that Public School has successfully executed since its launch in 2008.
