Colombian artist Oscar Murillo opened a new exhibition that emphasizes the process of studio work while tying deeply into his cultural heritage. It’s his first major solo exhibition at the South London Gallery. He filled the studio space by emptying all the contents of his studio for the presentation, including masses of pulped drawings, his tables, drawings, sculptures, and films. In the video above—provided by the gallery—he discusses the show and his work. Check out more on his website.
