J.Crew’s first TV spot in the company’s 30-year history officially debuts today. The retailer has partnered with MasterCard to introduce MasterPass. Essentially, the tool stores shoppers’ info to be store for faster checkout times. This is key for the holidays if you don’t want to keep repeating the same info over and over again while you’re online shopping.
As for the commercial, it’s basically a J.Crew catalog or store display come to life. There’s nobody singing annoying holiday jingles, but instead features a very attractive family who happen to love playing dress-up in the most stylish clothes ever. Even the family dog looks well-groomed, and dresses better than some dudes. While we love J.Crew, this perfect family looks like the type of group you'd want to hate on when holiday stress kicks in.
