Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo is one step closer to immortality, or at least something like it. His family has told the press that in early 2014, a museum dedicated to him will open in in Funchal, Madeira, where he was born. Supposedly he has also funded the museum's construction, which will be a place to showcase his accomplishments, medals, and awards from throughout the years.

The family has said, “The museum will be very important for the region because it will bring tourists from all over the world. Who would not want to see the Golden Ball and the Golden Boot, among many trophies that Ronaldo has already won?”

Truly, there is no better way to flatter yourself, live forever, and educate the public about your greatness than to open a museum dedicated to your own life. Truly.
