This is a somewhat ridiculous development in the consumption of tea. Namely, there’s now a comestible calendar made from finely pressed tealeaves, one for each day of the year, each with a different, unique flavor and stamped with the day’s date. You simply rip off the calendar page, throw the tea in a cup, add hot water, and enjoy. Because tea and calendars were too separated as they were.

This is the new Teekalender from leaf peddlers Halssen & Lyon, a company that’s been around since 1879. With the creative design agency Kolle Rebbe, they managed to accomplish the unthinkable: a calendar made from tea. Seriously, who thought of this?

This explanatory video of the Teakalender says it all—this is serious business. More images of the calendar that easily dissolves in hot water above.
