Paul Kasmin Gallery Celebrates the 100th Anniversary of Brancusi in New York With a Special Exhibition

In 1913, Romanian-born sculptor Constantin Brancusi arrived in New York and showed five pieces for the first time at the Armory Show. Fast forward 100 years and the influential artist will be honored with a solo exhibition at Paul Kasmin Gallery. The exhibition will feature five of Brancusi's masterworks: Head, Mademoiselle Pogany II, The Newborn, Sleeping Muse II, and Fish. In the video below, gallery owner Paul KasminJérôme Neutres (author of Brancusi New York catalogue), Jean-Jacques Neuer (Brancusi Estate Counsel), and Theodor Nicol of the Brancusi Estate speak about the artist, his legacy, and the importance of this 100th anniversary exhibition due to open on November 11.
