On a recent trip to Egypt, Beyonce was not permitted to tour the pyramids because, according to the archeologist described as "Egypt's Indiana Jones," Zahi Hawass, the star was being rude.
Hawass claims Beyonce showed up late to his tour and refused to apologize. He told The Independent of the exchange: "'In that case since you almost hit my photographer and you are not polite—out! I am not giving you the privilege of having you on my tour.' I said Beyoncé was stupid and I left."
Even if Beyonce was a little late (or hours late), can you really blame her? This is Beyonce we're talking about. She’s a busy lady.
Also, it's hard to sympathize with Hawass, a man who has been called "the Mubarak of Antiquities" and has been accused with corruption and other offenses.
If Beyonce wants to see the pyramids, let Beyonce see the pyramids.
