Verbal and Yoon, the husband-and-wife designers of Ambush are opening a pop-up shop in the Barneys location in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
Originally known for flashy accessories, the duo executed some relatively conservative ideas out for this special capsule collection. A leather cap is adorned with five icon badges, and a necklace is ringed with with pill-like charms. The collection is rounded out with a T-shirt that has a pit-to-pit mind-blowing graphic that looks like a gothic version of an Hermès scarf.
All items are colored or coated in black, a departure from Ambush's past colorful accessories and T-shirts. The cap and necklace are priced at $241 and $199, and the T-shirt comes in at $135. The pop-up store will open on November 23 and continue until December 1.
