TrustoCorp Installs Sarcastic Street Signs In New York That Take Shots at Banksy (Video)

Art collective TrustoCorp is known for their fake signage that often carries sarcastic messages. Inspired by Banksy's current residency in New York City, they decided to create new signs and take to the streets of Williamsburg and the East Village with the folks of ANIMAL tagging along to film the installation process. The signs carry messages that are obvious references to the elusive and wealthy street artist, confirmed by the "bank sponsors" on the bottom of each in case anyone has doubts ("Citibanksy" and "Banksy of America"). 

The collective told ANIMAL that they actually love Banksy and his work, but they "can’t help but notice the irony of a multimillionaire doing rebellious street art." Check out the footage below and if you're in New York, keep an eye out for the signs:
