Everything about this is awesome.

To honor the men and women of the United States Armed Forces, the San Antonio Spurs have unveiled new camo uniforms that they will debut on USAA Salute Night against the Washington Wizards. San Antonio has a large military population, both active and retired, so the team wanted to show their respect for the hundreds of thousands of residents who put their lives on the line for this country.

The uniforms were designed by adidas as a part of the NBA Pride Uniform Collection and clearly aren't in the normal Spurs colors, but various logos and alternate logos appear on both the shorts and the jersey. Fans can see the team in the special uniforms twice this coming season and can purchase the uniforms from the team and NBA stores online on November 13, USAA Salute Night, and game-worn jerseys will be up for auction that night as well. Military veterans and active members can purchase tickets for the game at 40% off by visiting Spurs.com/salute. The game nights and the jerseys are amazing gestures by the NBA and their teams and we definitely approve.
