Ryan McGinness' ping-pong table would fit in at a rave more than a hotel, but the dayglo piece shines under the black light of the The Standard Hotel in Los Angeles. Designed for the ping-pong tournament, SPiN Standard, the color explosion table was unveiled in all its neon beauty at the “Black Light Ping-Pong Party,” hosted by Kohn Gallery, Quint Contemporary Art, and Maker Magazine. During the event, Shepard Fairey manned the DJ table.

The glowing table is covered in graphics that seem to pull from wallpaper designs, pop iconography, and graffiti writing. The mash-up is mesmerizing, but we don't know how much it would help our Ping-Pong game.
