Argentine artist Magdalena Marcenaro and New York native Ray Diesnyc come together for a collaborative show at the Gowanus Print Lab in Brooklyn Called "New Versions of an Old Me." As the title suggests, the works on display explore personal growth and the evolution between a past self and a present self. Through their art, both artists acknowledge how their outside environments, interactions, and relationships have made them who they are.

Marcenaro's multi media compositions are filled with dripping colors and plastered with images, suggesting a collage of the self or a dreamlike world that is both familiar and strange. Ray Diesnyc takes a more abstract approach, using solid blocks of colors and bold patterns to create vibrant works that arrest our attention.

"New Versions of an Old Me" will be on view at the Gowanus Print Lab Oct. 2 to Nov. 6.
