A year ago, the New Museum launched its new website and a monthly digital art series known as "First Look: New Art Online." Five of the six works currently featured in the project's Fall lineup are new commissions, presented from August 2013 through February 2014. Existing under the theme of "Archives," the works on the horizon include a live performance piece by Xavier Cha, an LP collection by Cory Arcangel, and a daily life photo narrative piece by Rheim Alkadhi.

Xaxier Cha's performance piece airs October 19 from 5 p.m. til 7 p.m. in New York, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Lyon, France, and on October 20 from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. in New York and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in France. The live performance entitled Disembodied Selfie was commissioned by Lyon Biennial and features a nude male actor moving through galleries, obsessively posting "selfies" to social media platforms. The resulting content will then be organized and archived on a dedicated website.

For more information on this and the five other works, visit the "First Look: New Art Online" page here.
