Isabel Marant's collection for H&M is almost here, and it's the designer's first foray into designing men's clothes, or is it? In a recent preview of the collection, Marant, who is known for her tomboyish designs, discusses how she tried to design men's clothing before.
"There were a lot of men asking me, 'Why don't you do men's?'" Marant said. "So, I started to do some T-shirts and knitwear a long time ago, but I never actually did a total outfit for men, so it'ss my first time."
The collection will allow people to go full-blown cozy boy at their local mall, the latest high-low collaboration will offer to the general public tons of knits, suede Chelsea boots, drapey T-shirts, printed denim, and even a pair of leather biker pants.
The coolest thing about Marant's work with the fast-fashion retailer is that, unlike a few of the past collabs, this seems to focus mainly on making stylish clothes that guys will actually want to wear—and will be available at a price point that normally only includes "meh" clothing options.
From how the clothes are styled in the video, this looks to be the most low-key high-fashion collection from H&M, and the knits are going to be popping. Expect the clothes to release on November 14.
