Brooklyn-based street art twins How & Nosm spent two weeks in Palestine by invitation from the Medical Aid for Palestinians charity. The MAP organization exists to help Palestinians "living under occupation and as refugees."The artists were asked to come and host workshops for the women and children of the area and to create pieces on and near the Israeli West Bank barrier. William Parry, communications officer for MAP and main point of contact for How & Nosm in Palestine, wrote a guest blog post for Vandalog recounting the murals, workshops, and experiences of the artists during their stay. The article features photos taken by Parry (including the ones above) as well as quotes from each artist about the high and low points of their very important visit.

Head over to Vandalog to see more of the work that the duo created in Palestine and to learn more about what their experiences.
