Artist and ice-cream lover Buff Monster decided to share his love for frozen treats with the people of Williamsburg. He painted this mural in collaboration with Juxtapoz and Converse, and with some help from Shotgun SeanBaldo, and Hoacs. The mural features his signature trippy imagery of melting, anthropomorphic ice-cream cones that are clearly inspired by Salvador Dali.

 ANIMAL was on the scene and filmed this segment for their "Artist's Notebook" series. They interviewed Buff Monster about the piece and included a rare look at his sketches and the various steps of the mural process on their site. Check out the footage below:
