Sometimes it is hard for people with famous family members to make a name for themselves in the same field. Most people have heard of Ai Weiwei, but how many people know about his half-brother Ai Xuan? Xuan is a 65-year-old realist painter that has had significant success in his home of Beijing, China, but his only solo exhibition was 26 years ago in New York. Xuan recently opened his second career solo exhibition entitled "Colors from Ink" at Kwai Fung Hin Art Gallery in Hong Kong which features 30 of the his large-format ink paintings. The exhibition runs now through November 3.

ArtInfo sat down with the lesser-known Ai brother in his art studio to learn more about him and his "addiction" to painting.
