Music video director turned musician Yoann "Woodkid" Lemoine recently released his debut album The Golden Ageand is gearing up for a tour across North America beginning October 14 in Philadelphia. Armed with a wall provided by Branded Arts, Woodkid worked with Los Angeles art collective CYRCLE to create this amazing mural using woodblock and text inspired by the narrative in his music.

CYRCLE explains that "the Woman represents the Boys mother, she is longing for the child she once had in her arms and worried about his safety and wellbeing out in the world.  The Warriors represent monsters and obstacles along the boys journey" adding that they "connect deeply with the Boy in his films, forging our way through the world as artists navigating through the monsters of Los Angeles and the world." Watch the video below for "Run Boy Run" to hear/see some of the material that inspired the mural, and visit Woodkid's YouTube page for more music and CYRCLE's website for more great artwork.
