French artist OX got the opportunity to do a few new pieces in his home country for the Bien Urbain Street Art Festival in Besancon. In it's third edition this year, the festival is designed to spark a dialogue about public space and its usage and boundaries. Artists including Smithe, Otecki, Akay & Rae, Spy, and Lucy McLauchlan came together to create site-specific pieces for the festival which began on September 5 and will end on October 5. OX painted every exterior surface of a gas station with vibrant colors and patterns and also took over billboards with the "Affichages" (displays) seen above.

For more information about the festival and the invited artists, check out the Bien Urbain website.
