The Nike and UndercoverGyakusou collaboration has gone on for several years, and this holiday season, there's set to be another collection rolled out. Running in cold weather is never fun, but when you're exercising in clothes designed by Jun Takahashi, it makes it much more bearable.

Recently, a preview of the latest collection was released, and the garments are simple and monochrome, but the multiple panels on the pieces produce a 3D effect that doesn't need a ton of color to stand out. The collection's Aeroloft vest is technical but gets to the point in a straight-forward fashion: It's made from ripstop nylon and stuffed with 800-fill down.

There are also breathable and warm shirts that use Nike's Dri-FIT material that keep layers to a minimum, while not sacrificing any warmth or sweating up a storm and feeling sticky. Long tights and mixed long pants will complete your running kit.

But let's be serious, we're tempted to wear these clothes even when we're not traversing trails or get in a healthy morning run before work. Athletic gear has had a strong influence in the fashion world, and that's why we're so keen on Takahashi's work with Nike. It's just a plus that this stuff performs very well.

Expect the collection to drop this October, just around when you start to see your breath in the morning.
