He’s only 17 years old, but designer Kai Nguyen is off to a flying start with his brand Lumieres. The latest capsule drop is titled “American Freedom,” for which he’s already tapped go-to streetwear model Ian Conner in the initial lookbook. And once again he's teamed up with another young-up-and-comer who produced the soundtrack for his latest video.
WONDAGURL, the producer behind Jay Z’s song "Crown" and Travis Scott’s "Uptown," gets called upon to work her magic for the soundtrack on this latest video. Showing off the pieces is Kai Nguyen himself and Ian Conner draped in all the patriotic but gothic pieces. T-shirts, hoodies, and long sleeve tees will show off your love of country without looking like a cheesy NASCAR fan. Instead, the patriotic gear brings flames to the table (pun intended) and can be copped on the Lumieres website.
