Geek Jesus, George Lucas wants to ­open the Lucas Cultural Arts Museum in San Francisco. Conceived by the Jedi himself, the institution will contain illustrative and digital arts and serve as a family-friendly site designed to inspire the next generation of artists, designers, and creatives. Lucas has an impressive filmography and a slew of trademarked properties, but he has also been instrumental in changing the landscape of digital arts and special effects for the entire industry. The proposed museum will contain works from his private collection as well as paintings, films, and technology from various decades that added to the cultures of art and cinema.
