For generations, older folks have thought that younger people show too much skin and need to "put some damn clothes on." Instead of just giving a wavering eye or refusing to let his children out of the house, one Utah dad, Scott Mackintosh, decided to get even with his daughter. His form of revenge: wearing very short jorts.
It all started last August when Mackintosh's family was going out for a night of putt-putt, hibachi, and milkshakes, and Mackintosh's daughter refused to wear longer shorts. So, Mackintosh decided he would turn his jeans into a pair of jorts with a length more fitting of Magnum P.I.
The daughter ended up getting embarrassed, and now the dad has become an Internet sensation—even bringing his "Daisy Dukes" on a local news broadcast. The fact he wore a "Best Dad Ever" T-shirt gives us our further reason to applaud this man's parenting techniques.
The father admits, "But no matter if social media gets the story mixed up and twisted, my daughter will always know that her dad loves her and cares about her enough to make a fool out of himself." Best dad ever.
