American artist Steve Lambert has landed in New York City with his installation piece "Capitalism Works for Me! True/False," a voting podium and illuminated sign that allows passersby to answer the question with either a yes or no, seeing the tally update in real-time. The piece has traveled the world, making stops in Cleveland, Boston, and Liverpool among other cities. With over 10,000 people passing through Times Square each hour and huge ads fighting for attention, it is the perfect location to gauge feelings toward capitalism.
To participate, head to Times Square October 6 through October 9, on Sunday through Wednesday between the hours of 5 pm and 7 pm.
