Every winter, tens of thousands of people from all over the world flock to Miami to be a part of one of the biggest art events on the planet. Art Basel Miami will present its 12th edition this December and has just released the list of galleries that will be exhibiting at the show. There will be 258 galleries in total this year selected from 31 countries across five continents, 107 of which are from the United States with a significant amount of galleries hailing from Germany, France, the UK, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland and China, among other countries. As always, the show will be divided into various sectors: Galleries, Nova, Positions, Kabinett, Public, Film, Magazines, and for the first time, an Edition sector. The sectors help provide the 50,000 visitors to Art Basel Miami with a way of navigating the impressive amount of art. The Kabinett and Public sectors will both see significant increases in the number of galleries and artists exhibiting, details of which will be announced in the Fall.
