People may think that Andy Warhol's factory, where he created his many screenprints, paintings, and films, was the place where all the parties happened. The truth is, he had a separate four-bedroom crib where even more fun went down, on the Upper East Side View at 1342 Lexington Avenue, which just sold for $5.5 million after being purchased for $3.5 million less than two years ago. He lived there from 1959 to 1974.

There are photos of the newly sold apartment here. In case you're curious about the kind of crib his friend and collaborator Jean-Michel Basquiat lived in, you can check it out (and rent it) here.
