New York design student Albert Son created the full branding and product design for a fictional hotel inspired by the Helvetica typeface. Son used the typeface and its "neutral, clean, simple" characteristics to design the logo, stationary, key cards, toiletries, door hangers, tote bags, product tags, and various other elements that you would expect in a high quality hotel suite. He also designed the interior of the rooms with a classic black, white, and red color scheme to match his vision of an "up-to-date and trendy" feeling place where people want to stay. Son's designs are better than many real-life hotels that we've stayed in and we can tell that he was actually paying attention in school (We're glad he didn't choose Comic Sans).
