While working on the Radiohead album "King of Limbs," artist Stanley Donwood became increasingly fascinated with holloways, natural tunnels formed by trees in the wilderness. The artist spent time sleeping amongst the trees as research and drew "mysterious and melancholic" scenes from memory. Donwood included the artworks in a book entitled "Far Away is Close at Hand in Images of Elsewhere," and now those pieces will be on display at The Outsiders in an exhibition of the same name, opening on September 20 and showing until October 19. The title of the book and exhibition is inspired by famous graffiti at Paddington Station in London that was mostly destroyed, like the tree walkways that Donwood studied.
