Known for his performances and sculpture, Michael Mahalchick will be channeling his inner-Jay Z at Louis B. james Gallery in New York City for a six-hour performance of "Picasso Baby." While Jay's performance at Pace Gallery last month was by RSVP, Mahalchick is making his performance open to the public. The 12pm til 6pm show marks the opening of "Diff’rent Strokes: small painting and intimate performance," an exhibition on show until August 23 that features work by Mahalchick, Ryan Schneider, and Canyon Castator, among others.
