Creating a cool streetwear brand is about conducting a balancing act between provocative pieces and clothes people can actually wear—or the vices and virtues of style. For fall 2013, streetwear brand Civil strikes a chord between designs that are made to catch other people's attentions and clothes that can become staples in your wardrobe such as varsity jackets, snapbacks, beanies, and windbreakers.

But even the more toned-down designs feature elements such as paisley panels, logos that play off '90s sports logos, and cool leather jackets. However, if you're looking for a little more shock value in your 'fit, there are tees with skulls, women smoking cigarettes, and tongues ingesting substances that make you feel warm and fuzzy.
