It's no secret that security has tightened-up over the years at airports, and the list of items you're allowed to carry or not continues to change. But what about beauty or grooming supplies?

Sunday evening at JFK Airport, the Port Authority believed it had found a package that contained weapons-grade chemicals, NBC reports. That's a scary find in today's society—if only it were true.

The FBI Hazmat department showed up along with the Port Authority to inspect the package, only to find out it was a case of beauty supplies.

"The FBI screened and tested the employees and the package they opened," the FBI admitted. "The package in question was determined to be beauty supplies and nothing further."

However, if beauty supplies are getting mixed up for deadly weapons, we wonder the damage they do to a person's skin. Beauty is pain?
