Alexander Wang Charges $550 for His Leather Sack

Look at what the designer put together with Samsung.

Everything Alexander Wang touches turns into colorless gold, and today's fashion-obsessed can't get enough of the designer's leather and athletic-inspired pieces. Did you see how people reacted when Wang gave away a bunch of free clothes a few weeks back?

Now, Wang has partnered up with Samsung, of all companies, on a camo-like leather gym bag. And it's $550. That's right, you can now own Alexander Wang's leather sack for half a rack.

This drawstring bag made from lambskin actually looks cool, plus it helps fund Art Start, a program that gives back to at-risk youth who have a creative spark within them.

As for the design, “The abstract print really captures the energy of New York City. This collaboration is a great example of how technology and style can come together in an unexpected but really meaningful way,” Wang toldWWD.

Wang had his friends and people close to him put together random images on their phones, and then he put them together, and the print on the bag is the result of their work.

There isn't any solid information on where the bag will be sold other than "key markets," but we have a feeling that a few could pop up at Wang's SoHo store. The flagship already sells enough of the designer's oddball items.
