Basketball hoops are usually vibrant places that yield nostalgia for fun days of competitive sports, but others have been forgotten and neglected as time goes on. Parisian photographer Adrian Skenderovic has created the photo series "Lost Hoops" to document these locations in their eerie solitude. Skenderovic says, "Everything is amazing, and nobody is happy," which he communicates throughout images of aged and worn basketball hoops that remain standing whether or not people are able to appreciate them. While they always maintain what they offer, it is up to those who come and go to decide what to gain, give, and take.
