At the age of 11, most children are either trading comic books or setting up lemonade stands to make some extra cash. Moziah Bridges is not your typical 11 year old, and he’s making more money than kids his age. The Memphis-based “kidpreneur” is the proprietor of Mo’s Bows, a line of swagged-out bow ties he makes himself.

His gravitation towards bow ties started when he was nine. “I really was a young dapper man and I couldn’t find any other bow ties that I really like,” he says. So, like any entrepreneur who has started multi-million dollar business, he started making his own with training provided by his 80-year-old grandmother.

From picking out the fabrics to sewing together the bow ties, Bridges does everything himself. We can tell he already has the trained eye of a fashion vet. Prints including polka dots, paisley, floral, and patchwork patterns can be found in his collections. If those don’t fit in with you dapper outfits, he has 63 designs in his Etsy store to choose from.

His hard work and passion is paying off, and many are starting to pay attention. Sales for his accessories have reached the $30,000 plus mark. And as for press releases, he might not need them since Forbes, Oprah, the Steve Harvey Show, and Fox News have all covered and profiled Mo’ and his bows.

If you have any reservations for a boy his age starting a business, there’s no need to worry. He’s confident and has the skill to pull it off. "It's me, I'm starting young and that's all that matters. Plus I'm handsome," he says.
