A victim of the Boston Marathon bombing himself, James Costello approached RAW to assist with creating these STRONG skateboards to benefit two other victims, brothers J.P. and Paul Norden of Stoneham, Masschusetts.

The STRONG boards are made the same way that RAW makes all of their decks: seven layers of quality maple with a ebony-stained topsheet, made right in New England. While there is a fund in place to assist him as well, Costello (younger brother of RAW co-founder Steve Costello) stated that not only will the boards raise money for the Nordens, but it will "give the skateboard community a no-brainer to show their support for the Nordens’ and rep the RAW brand, which has always been Boston strong.”

These boards are available at the RAW MA store as well as their online shop. Proceeds will go directly to the Norden Brothers.
