Market Week Recap: Caputo & Co. Spring/Summer 2014

None

S/S 14 sees Caputo & Co. draw from inspirations both familiar and foreign. Specifically, designer Alex Caputo states the collection is based on a Japanese nautical theme, while the silhouettes remain classically American. This mix results in a color palette dominated by primary colors, accented with natural Vachetta leathers and a healthy dose of patterns. An embossed Japanese lighthouse symbol also makes an appearance on several bags, guiding you towards the steezy shoreline come next year. We don't usually spend a lot of time talking about belts—they're kind of like an extra chore in the morning and just, like, buy pants that fit—but, Caputo & Co.'s actually do more than simply prevent ass crack exposure and for that we're thankful.
