Manchester United Reveals Well-Designed Away Kit

They kept it classy.

Manchester United revealed their new away kit for the 2013/2014 season that's subtle and very sleek. The new look features a dope pattern of black and midnight navy, the same gingham that appeared on last season's home shirt except with a more powerful, modern design. The new kit is meant to represent the city's industrial heritage, specifically Manchester's cotton mills during the 18th century.

The bottom of the kit is also classy. It contains midnight navy shorts that are highlighted with a thin navy blue stripe located on the back. The socks are also navy blue, branded with the traditional United logo. The kit altogether has a very regal look that stands out from other kits that look overdesigned.

Nike, of course, had many technical things to say about the new look: "The kit weighs just 150 grams, 23 percent lighter than previous Nike kits. It also boasts a 20 percent stronger knit structure and significantly improved stretch." The brand also said, "The fabric uses Nike Dri-FIT technology to draw sweat away from the body through the fabric where it can evaporate, to keep players cool and dry."
