Inviting the world's top interior design and fashion journalists to view their new line, Swedish studio KNOCK has created a life-sized dollhouse for H&M Home in an empty theater in central Stockholm. The dollhouse was built in a mega version to fit real humans and showcased rooms in a variety of themes. The space outside of the house was dedicated to a garden area, where visitors could enjoy the dollhouse view in its exposed cross-section. The project invited 300 international journalists to tour through the strange space that allowed people to physically enter a dollhouse. Since dollhouses are designed to be all about the interior and less about supporting life, the concept was creative and effective in showcasing home designs.
