Nike has released the home and away kits that will be worn by F.C. Porto for their 2013-2014 season. The kits are pretty awesome, featuring a really sleek look and cool color scheme. The home shirt contains blue and white stripes along with a blue crossover V-neck collar outlined with gold trim. It also has blue sleeves that include a white cuff, also trimmed in gold. Why the gold highlights? The club is celebrating its 120th anniversary filled with a lot of success.
The away kit is primarily a royal blue with light blue color block accents. It has a dark blue v-neck collar and gold trim. It features a gold label located inside the back of the neck showing the club's original crest (this is also found in the home kit). Both looks will be available at Subside Sports.
The new kits are stylish and boast a very iconic look. They are relatively simple, yet the minimalism of the design commands a lot of attention. The kits are made out of recycled polyester. Nike has converted more than 1.1 billion plastic bottles from landfill since 2010.
