In the photo series "Crayola Theory," photographer Daniel Seung Lee and art director Dawn Kimpresent familiar Crayola colors in a new way. The New York-based pair visualized different colors as real-world objects and set them against a backdrop of their respective shades. Kim and Lee successfully produced renditions the colors—"Brick Red" is shown in bricks, "Copper" in pennies, and "Denim" in a stack of jeans. The series includes a total of eight images representing eight colors. While some are direct translations of names into objects, others feature appropriately related imagery. The delicious crayon colors take on a new life in this project.
